The quality of die-cutting by a die-cutting machine is affected by the die-cutting accuracy. When this situation occurs and the cause cannot be found from the mechanical aspect, can you change your perspective and consider three aspects: the influence of the environment, the influence of the operator, and the plate-making issue?
1. Environmental Impact. The main issue is that the cardboard deforms or stretches, resulting in inaccurate "registration" and thus affecting the die-cutting accuracy. Try to ensure that die-cutting, creasing and printing are carried out in the same working environment or maintain the uniformity of the working environment. For the printed sheets that are varnished and laminated, die-cutting pretreatment should be carried out to minimize the impact of paper deformation on die-cutting accuracy. Appropriate paper should be selected to reduce the influence of the material's own defects on the die-cutting accuracy.
2. The influence of operators. This encompasses the entire production process from plate making to printing and die-cutting. It requires operators to strictly follow the process flow, enhance production management requirements, and provide professional skills training for operators when necessary.
3. Plate-making issues. If problems arise during the design and plate-making process, advanced plate-making methods should be selected to improve the accuracy of die-cutting plates. Or to correct the template, the main thing is to align the positions of printing and die-cutting. Manual plate-making is prone to deviations, which may cause the printing position to be inconsistent with the die-cutting position. In necessary cases, a new template needs to be made.
